Designing real time embedded software running under RTOS. Producing architecture and High level design documents. Implementing software designs in C/C++. Device Driver Software Development Engineer is responsible for defining/implementing and testing BSP and device driver software for subsystems products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
You must have experience in at least one-third of the list below:
C/C++ (essential).
VX-Works Kernel.
Vx-works Development and debugging tool suite (Tornado 2.1).
BSP device drivers.
Design and implementation of Hardware / software interfaces.
Knowledge of 8260 Motorola processor.
Embedded databases.
Graphical User Interface(GUI) design.
Telecoms Network Architecture.
Signalling and communication Protocols.
CLI.
Design and Implementation knowledge of SDH/Sonet.
Design and Implementation knowledge of TCP/IP esp the IP routing protocols (OSPF, RIP)
Knowledge of SNMP agent /MIB and/or TL1
GENERAL SOFTWARE SKILLS:
Experience in software product development, Structured Design Process (Design Specifications, Software Design), Coding in C, C++, UDP Sockets, Software Testability Issues.
Knowledge of the telecom market, SDH/Sonet, optical technology, internet protocols, packet switching.
Knowledge of current technologies in the area of network processing, especially optical transmission - DWDM, amplification, packet switching and filtering.
Configuration Management tools and Problem Tracking tools experience.
Multi site development experience would be an advantage.
Digital hardware knowledge would be an advantage
