Our client, a leading player in the EDA tool market, is seeking a software engineer to further complement their static timing analysis team. The role will be to research, specify, design, develop and support new software as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing features. Challenges include design of efficient data structure and algorithms to support analysis of complex multi-million gate designs, ability to learn new areas, and commitment to deliver high quality production software. The successful candidate will excel in solving problems both individually and with other team members. Have a background in developing and maintaining complex software systems in C or C++. A proficiency in algorithms, data structures and software engineering required. PhD in EE/CE/CS or MSEE/CE/CS with minimum of 3 years related work experience required. Knowledge of static timing, delay calculation, simulation, library characterization methodology, logic synthesis, signals integrity (i.e. crosstalk, static noise, IR-drop, EM etc) or place and route would be beneficial. Candidates also from a parallel programming for distributed systems background welcome.
