Our client is a multi billion pound company who are an innovative market leader within the Process Control industry with a worldwide presence. My client specialises in the manufacture of process control and instrumentation solutions for the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries.
My client is seeking an experienced Service sales Account Manager to be responsible for management of all their industrial instrumentation business and after market services. You will have a number of vital responsibilities which will include producing quotations and proposals with the support of operations and technical support resources to meet the needs of their customers. You will provide regular Account and opportunity status updates and create and uphold good working relationships by providing excellent after market services. You will work with customers and internal resources to assist in securing, developing and enhancing term service contracts. A further responsibility will be supporting the Account manager in developing opportunities for additional non contract service and small project work.
You will have Automation and control knowledge either from a technical or sales role with an aptitude towards sales and an ability to build sound relationships. A sound understanding of instrumentation and after market services will be a strong advantage. You will have a positive attitude and an ability to work in a team. Advantageous will be the capability and desire to manage and grow the business within allocated accounts. You will have strong financial awareness and the appropriate qualifications to support working in a consultative technical sales environment.
