Our multinational client now requires a Product Quality Engineer to be responsible for any quality related topics in reference to their products. The role will involve being the customer representative in any quality related issues and to be the co-ordinator between external customers and internal departments. Monitoring automotive customer complaint performance and ensuring global 8D reporting will be required as well as evaluating and approving product design change notices.
Required skills include;
-Strong knowledge of diffusion and assembly manufacturing processes
-Detailed knowledge of semiconductor product quality
-Knowledge of discrete or power semiconductors beneficial
-Good problem solving techniques such as 8D, FMEA, DOE
-BSc in Physics / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
