Our client is looking for a Global Sales and Marketing Mgr with experience of selling into semiconductor foundries/fabs, probably based in the North-West although home based maybe possible. Degree qualified with at least 5 years sales experience of capital equipment within the semiconductor industry, experience of mass spectrometry, gas analysis or sensoring technologies would be advantage
Due to an internal promotion our client is looking for a Global Sales and Marketing Mgr with experience of selling into semiconductor foundries/fabs. It is likely this candidate will be based in the North-West although there maybe the option of being home based in the UK. As many of the customers will be based in Asia there will be some travel. You will also have a number of direct reports.
Hence we are looking for someone with at least 5 years sales experience of capital equipment within the semiconductor industry. Experience of mass spectrometry, gas analysis or sensoring technologies would be advantageous. Your customer base could currently include OEM's, research institutes, semiconductor fabs and other end users. Additionally it is likely you will be degree qualified in electronics or a technology related degree.
Your primary goal will be to develp a global sales capability that will increase revenues and market share. This will encompass working with our client's offices worldwide and building relationships with distributors. You will define new markets and work with the product engineering teams in develop products to exploit these opportunities andl help in directing the product roadmaps to ensure the competitive advantage is enhanced.
Additional responsibilities will include developing sales material and training courses for key clients, evaluating and redefining the sales operations if appropriate and ensuring that the development of new products reaches the market as required. Of course you will have ownership for sales strategies and specific key account programmes.
