My client is a well-established and respected component distributor and value-added services supplier to companies operating in the high technology industry. They are part of a large group but like all companies within this group, they run autonomously and have continued to sustain growth and an enviable client base whom they service professionally and successfully.
They now seek to compliment their existing sales team with the addition of an Area Sales Engineer - Power Solutions covering the northern region offering a complete range of power conversion products including power supplies for OEM, batteries and standby systems as well a comprehensive range of complimentary products.
The existing client base needs to be supported on a regular basis and there is a focus on driving new opportunities to the business. As such you will be required to fully embrace this position and to a large extent generate your own activity which will include customer prospecting, client visits, technical design in and sales follow up.
Ideally you will have a background in power supply; however, those with a solid foundation in electronic engineering design, technical sales or application support are strongly encouraged to apply.
