An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Sales Engineer with one of the industry's largest specialist supplier of components to the commercial and military electronics industry. With a portfolio representing the world's leading manufacturers, their lead position in the USA has been replicated across the globe, their UK / European operations continue to set new standards of service for both customers and suppliers.
The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for seeking, identifying and securing new opportunities using the entire product portfolio. The main emphasis will be new business development so this should be something you enjoy and have extensive experience in. The territory will be the North of England and will include a number of existing accounts, which will need to be nurtured and maintained to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a demanding sales environment, together with a proven track record of developing and maintaining customer-focused relationships. An electronics and/or distribution background is essential, as too is the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative. We are looking for a team player, who has the determination to succeed in an ever-changing market.
