My Client, an established company in the Consumer industry whose exciting products enhance your digital lifestyle and combine high fashion with cutting edge technology .Due to expansion are now seeking the skills of an experienced Product manager. Your responsibilities will include promoting the existing and future product range, analysing market trends and to be the key interface with clients such as Argos, Curry's and Comet.
Accountabilities:
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Perform product demos to customers
Set pricing to meet sales and profitability goals
Management of Product Lifecycle
Develop sales tools and collateral
Brief and train the sales force at regular intervals
Brief press and go on press tours
Keeping abreast of industry developments and technological advances which may affect/benefit product strategy
Worldwide travel
Ideal candidates will have minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager. Demonstrated success defining and launching products together with a BSc degree in IT/Electronics/Marketing and ideally knowledge of the consumer electronics arena. Must be able to travel in Europe, Asia and USA as required
This is an office based position in the Manchester area with an excellent base salary + benefits package including assisted relocation.
