This is a great opportunity to work for a leading global passive component manufacturer whose reputation for excellence is unrivalled.
Due to continual growth, we are looking to expand our UK sales team and are establishing a Key Account Manager in the North of England . Ideally you will be based in or close to the M62 corridor with geographic responsibility for the North of England. We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated, polished and enthusiastic self-starter who has experience in external sales working in the Passive Component or a Distribution environment. Educated to at least HNC/HND level in electronics, we are looking for a technical solution sales professional with strong presentational and ambassadorial skills to work at all levels.
This role requires the individual to have sound commercial awareness and be proactive in developing new and existing customer relationships. You will be given a specific customer portfolio and will also have sole responsibility for four distribution accounts together with managing their end customers. In this high-profile sales role, you will be expected to generate, maintain and maximise sales opportunities. The role demands the achievement of targets and provision of timely data to management.
The role will be home-based and you must have strength of character and tenacity to self-drive the role and to organise your workload effectively. Regular liaison with our Head Office personnel and working closely with our sales support teams and other account managers, are equally vital.
