My client is a leading global manufacturer of Automation and Control Systems products for a range of industrial and process control sectors. They are strongly branded, hold an enviable position in global engineering markets and are well regarded. Their product range and systems solutions are comprehensive and can offer a range of possibilities for key customers.
They currently require a (Sales) Account Manager with at least 5 years experience in Automation or Control Systems sales, familiar with products such as: PLC's, HMI, MMI, SCADA, motion control or related instrumentation. Acting as the primary customer contact for a number of leading OEM's and End Users you will work closely with regional sales teams to promote this range of products within the overall brand. The ability to present a technical product to customers, and then unravel the clients precise needs in order to offer an attractive product solution is key to this role. A basic understanding of manufacturing systems and automation systems would be an added benefit but not essential. Strong communication and English language skills are essential and you should enjoy the dynamic of building relationships at a range of seniorities ranging from process engineers to Directorial level. This role would appeal to technical sales candidates with a high degree of professionalism who are seeking an environment where they can excel with no limits or restrictions to business development levels, overall salary earnings and genuine career advancement opportunities. Candidates must currently live between Birmingham and Newcastle (Midlands or North) - no overseas candidates please.
Base salary circa £40-45k + up to 25% bonus + car + pension etc
