A leading global distributor of advanced technology active components and systems to a wide variety of commercial original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Electronic Manufacturing Services providers (EMS). The company is technology led, focusing on three main industry sectors.
The company differentiates itself from all other distributors by maintaining a clear focus on the customers that it serves.
They now seek the skills of a Field Application Engineer to provide focused specialist support on the Atmel Franchise and to provide assistance on other key franchises.
The role is to support the sales team in their existing customer base and be pro-active in closing new design wins.
The successful person will need to have come from an OEM/Distribution environment in a similar capacity and have a strong customer focus/knowledge within the chosen territory. You will need to be a very pro-active individual that has a technical understanding of the embedded market.
