A well established independent distributor of opto-electronics. They are currently seeking to retain the skills of a Field Applications Engineer. This position has arisen due to the continuous success of the company and the growth of their sales and marketing team.
The prime responsibility is to provide technical product support to the internal and external customer base. This will ensure the active utilisation of their product and market knowledge gained through training sessions held internally and by manufacturers.
The ideal candidate will have a background in electronic components, more specifically LED, Display components however this is not a pre-requisite as full training will be provided. You could come from either Sales, Purchasing or Product Management etc. You need to be highly organised and able to work under pressure.
