Formed in 1999, our clients are a fast-moving company based in Cambridge, UK. They are developing cutting-edge wireless infrastructure products that enable GSM cellular services in a wide variety of applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and experienced software engineer with DSP skills primarily to work on DSP algorithm implementation and layer 1 software in their GSM, EDGE and 3G basestation products. The following are essential requirements for all of these positions: ·Good understanding of modulation, equalisation and channel coding theory ·Previous experience in physical layer of GSM or UMTS ·Experience in developing and debugging real-time embedded systems ·2+ years practical use of C for embedded applications This is a young and dynamic company with a focus on success.
