<p>Our client is a dynamic, forward looking company providing innovative and complete product development solutions for GSM and third-generation products. With an excellent track record of developing IP and final products which add significant value to their customers operations, they have been very successful in developing wireless functionality for market applications across a number of industry sectors.
<p>Our client now seeks a DSP Software Engineer with good knowledge and experience of DSP algorithm and software development along with good mathematical skills, underpinning a strong theoretical understanding of DSP algorithms. Given the dynamic nature of the company, the successful candidate must be able to work under tight time scales without compromising quality.
<p>Requirements for the role include:<li>4 5 years experience of software development and implementing algorithms in C for DSPs in a communications application such as GSM, xDSL, CDMA.
<li>Thorough understanding of the issues involved in real time software system development
<li>Understanding of the operation of communication systems in relation to DSP
<li>Understanding and experience of modulation / demodulation, signal acquisition and synchronisation techniques
<li>Experience of Texas Instruments C6x DSPs and CodeComposer beneficial but by no means essential.
