There is a current opportunity for an Application Support Engineer - Backplanes to work with a company who specialise in the design and manufacture of custom backplanes, including design simulation and validation plus signal integrity testing, through to fully integrated systems.
The role will include:
Providing a complete support service to our European Subsidiaries
Handling all front-end technical enquiries
Preparing costings and quotations
Reviewing technical specifications and drawings
Liaising with all relevant internal departments
Investigating cost and quality improvements
Participating in problem solving activities
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of backplanes and backplane systems and excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills. However, those who have experience in a similar role or those with a technical background who are looking for a more commercial based role are also encouraged to apply.
The role could be commutable from the following locations, Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Market Harborough, Towcester, Daventry, Rugby, Bedford, Milton Keynes. The company are offering a competitive basic salary, bonus and benefits package.
