My client, based in Bucks, is a leading US based company and the world's pioneer of system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) solutions is currently seeking a Design Engineer for External Memory Architectures. The centre of excellence based in the UK invents next generation IP, hardware and Software for customer applications, such as 4G, 3G and high-speed digital systems for markets such as the telecom, wireless comms, automotive, networking and industrial markets.
The external memory interfaces on FPGAs use leading edge technology to enable the highest possible performance from the silicon, including custom circuits which are run time programmable and calibrated to the operating environment by a combination of hard and soft logic. You will be a member of the engineering team developing external memory interface architectures and solutions for current and future FPGA families.
Can you Write synthesizable code in VHDL or Verilog and have experience in High speed digital design using ASIC or FPGA technologies?
