An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer / ISE, who will provide Technical Sales Support for my client at their headquarters which are located in Buckinghamshire near Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. My client is a world renowned innovator and supplier of industrial automation. This fantastic opportunity will be internally based as you will provide technical sales support for there building services division. You will be working with high quality automation and process control products. This role would also be easily commutable from Bedfordshire or Hertfordshire.
This exciting internal sales engineer role will involve frequent communication with customers and responding to their enquiries regarding process control instrumentation in a prompt and professional manner. Issuing clear and accurate quotations that meet safety and technical guidelines. You will be a confident communicator and will liaise with all internal and external staff. This will include discussing sales developments with Sales Engineers and technical issues with Product Managers so to maximise sales opportunities and increase overall profit. You will need to have a good sales acumen along with sound technical ability as you will be expected from time to time to produce technical and sales presentations for clients and staff.
You will have experience and demonstrable knowledge of electrical control automation equipment and an advantage will be familiarity of building services. You will hold an electrical qualification and or have experience of building services and electrical control distribution as this will be essential for this position. Ideally you will have a good telephone manner and be able to work individually or as part of a team. You will be PC literate and have an accurate eye for detail.
