A vacancy has arisen for an Assembly and Test Equipment Programming Engineer to join our Milton Keynes, Bucks based client.
The Assembly and Test Equipment Programming Engineer will generate and maintain programs for all test, assembly and device programming equipment.
Main duties will include:
"Review of customer supplied data for DFM and DFT issues.
"Generation, definition and checking of solder paste stencils
"Import of customer CAD data to Tecnomatix system
"Generation and maintenance of Siemens Si-place Programs
"Generation and maintenance of SPEA Flying Probe Programs
"Maintenance of Teradyne Z1884 Programs
"Maintenance of Teradyne TS121 Programs
"Generation and maintenance of JTAG Technologies boundary scan programs
"1st line support to all of the above systems + Dek printers and assorted device programmers
"Technical support to the manufacturing team in relation to the above
You will be HNC (or higher) qualified in an electronics related topic with experience of Siemens SiPlace PRO, SPEA, Teradyne, Genrad and JTAG Technologies hardware and software a distinct advantage. Familiarity with device programming equipment (DataIO, BPMicro etc). Experience in a similar role is preferred though not essential.
