My client is a world renowned innovator and supplier of industrial automation. A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an internally based technical sales support engineer to join their power distribution division. You will be working with high quality power distribution products which include MCB's, RCD's, Panel Boards, Consumer Units and Distribution Boards. This position is based from their UK distribution centre in Buckinghamshire.
This exciting role will involve frequent communication with customers and responding to their enquiries in a prompt and professional manner. Issuing clear and accurate quotations that meet safety and technical guidelines. You will be a confident communicator and will liaise with all internal and external staff. This will include discussing sales developments with Sales Engineers and technical issues with Product Managers so to maximise sales opportunities and increase overall profit. You will need to have a good sales acumen along with sound technical ability as you will be expected from time to time to produce technical and sales presentations for clients and staff.
You will have experience and demonstrable knowledge of electrical control automation equipment and an advantage will be familiarity of power distribution products. You will hold an electrical qualification and or have experience of electrical control distribution as this will be essential for this position. Ideally you will have a good telephone manner and be able to work individually or as part of a team. You will be PC literate and have an accurate eye for detail.
