Our client is the industrys leading provider of embedded RISC microprocessor solutions. They have a new requirement for a junior / graduate engineer to join their Cambridge headquarters working as part of the design migration team.
You will be responsible for providing design migration service to customers to port some of their microprocessor designs onto a variety of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate would be recently graduated with a good University or Masters degree (1st or 2.1), with a background in electronic engineering, computer science or physics.
No previous experience is necessary as appropriate training would be provided, though any experience in full-custom digital CMOS and VLSI design would be an advantage. Familiarity with EDA design tools would be advantageous though training will be provided where necessary. Understanding of advanced CMOS processes and of digital design techniques is desirable.
