<p>Our client is developing IP which will significantly enhance SoC functionality, addressing some of the fundamental "multi core" challenges SoC designers currently face. They have already generated significant commercial momentum: their initial funding round has just been confirmed, and they have a blue chip customer which is lending support in terms of EDA tools and manpower.
<p>Our client is now seeking an IC field applications engineer. Because the IP will be targeting SoC, the successful candidate MUST have strong SoC / ASIC design skills. In addition, he/she will have exceptional customer facing skills not just the ability to answer questions, but to analyse these questions and identify the underlying issues / motivations behind a customers enquiries.
<p>A pure SoC design engineer with a dynamic personality and a burning desire to move into an apps role will be considered.
