An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Embedded C Software Engineer based in Berkshire to join a world leader in the design and manufacture of rugged, real-time video tracking and image processing sub-systems for aerospace and defence applications. They urgently require an Embedded C Software Engineer who will be part of the company's team for developing embedded software for a range of video tracking and image processing products.
The role includes design and development of real time software, preparation of design documentation, software test & validation, technical support and close liaison with other departments and staff. There will also be the occasional field support and customer interaction.
Key skills/experience:
"Significant experience with C/C++ in a real time embedded environment
"Familiarity with hardware integration
"Familiarity with RTOS environments such as VxWorks
"Experience with implementing data processing algorithms
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline. Candidates should also have experience within a related industry including Electronics, Image Processing, Aerospace or Defence.
