A unique opportunity has arisen to join a growing company based in Berkshire who is seeking a Group Buyer. This company specialise in the manufacture of UV equipment for disinfection, deozonation, dechloramination, and dechlorination and for the enhanced removal of total organic carbon from ultrapure applications.
Based in Slough the Group Buyer will have responsibility for the Slough and Eindhoven (Netherlands) sites. Main duties include cost reductions, contract negotiation, explore and secure international opportunities, ensure supply is on time and ensure sub-contractors perform to requirements.
Key skills/experience:
Good technical understanding of Electro-Mechanical procurement
CIPS qualified
Experience of overseas sourcing (not essential)
Educated to a degree level in a related discipline or have significant experience in related industry
