Future Electronics is one of the World's largest and long established electronic component distributors that have offices in over 30 countries. They specialise in the distribution of Semiconductor, Passive & Emech products. They are in a position to recruit a Supplier Development Manager ideally based in and around Berkshire, Birmingham or Manchester.
The role exists in order to develop and manage the overall business opportunity for a number of suppliers. The objective is to become the single most important Future contact in the region and to leverage this relationship to drive performance on all key metrics. Working as a team the Supplier Development Manager will set local financial, technical, product and sales strategies, develop subsequent execution plans that support corporate sales and supplier goals and drive these successfully to conclusion.
The successful candidate will have experience within the Electronic Component industry ideally in a Product Marketing capacity, and must be experienced in dealing with the distribution channel. This is primarily a commercial role, however a technical background would be advantageous. The role requires extensive travel between the corporate headquarters, UK sales branches and supplier locations. The candidate will be ideally located with easy access to Heathrow, Birmingham or Manchester.
