My client is a UPS power supplies, Power systems and switchgear solutions provider and vendor, based in south England and gearing up for their next stage of growth. Continuous commercial success and ongoing projects has led to the creation of the position of Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager.
The current need is to bring an experienced Sales professional into the business who has specific RECENT sales experience of Power Systems, UPS power supplies, Switchgear or DC systems. This role will lean more towards Business Development hence there is a negotiable salary package and my client will be looking for evidence in recent years regarding Sales of power supply systems or products into key sectors such as Banking, IT, Hospitals, commercial, building services contractors and consultants. Living somewhere in the southern half of England you will enjoy the consultative sales process, have strong relationship building and closing skills and be a natural communicator and able to be inquisitive in order to quickly develop client intelligence and ascertain demand. Able to understand the features and benefits of industrial sized back up generators or UPS systems and communicate that to clients is essential in this role.
We prefer candidates educated to BTEC or HNC in an engineering subject for this role and also candidates that have a proven sales track record in the last few years of at least £500k per annum. This is a role partially working from home, sometimes in the southern head office and of course mainly travelling to see customers. Candidates living in West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Wiltshire, London and Kent will be best positioned for this role.
