My client based in Berkshire is a world leader in the design and manufacture of rugged, real-time video tracking and image processing sub-systems for aerospace and defence applications. Due to continued growth they urgently require a Technical Project Manager to provide management of projects utilizing their products and capabilities in the area of real-time processing.
This position will be ideal for either a Senior Engineer looking to move into Project Management or a Project Manager looking for the next step in their career.
You will provide the technical and commercial interface with domestic and international customers, develop project plans, manage, facilitate and coordinate project development activities. You will be responsible for the preperation of high level specifications and proposals and provide overall technical oversight. Projects will range from the supply of standard off-the-shelf products to multi-year developments
Key skills/experience:
Experience in a related industry i.E. Aerospace, defence, image processing etc.
Technical background - ideally in Hardware or Embedded Software
Strong people management skills
Qualified to a degree level in a related discipline or significant level of experience
Able to travel internationally without restriction
