An exciting opportunity has arisen for a RF/EMC Engineer, based in Wokingham, Berkshire to join a leading supplier of turnkey EMC test systems.
They are currently looking for a RF/EMC Application Engineer to work on their market leading software packages. You will be able to design EMC test systems to meet customers' individual requirements from initial concept to final acceptance, including system integration and installation.
The successful candidate will become fully conversant with all aspects of their test software and its application and will assist in definition, design, assembly, installation and commissioning of the test systems. You will also support customers in installing systems and configuring the software to meet their requirements.
Key skills/knowledge(not all essential):
Knowledge of RF and microwave electronics OR writing software code, LABVIEW
Practical experience of RF EMC testing, ATE
Familiarity with programming techniques and flow charting
Familiarity with software control of test instrumentation
Ability to communicate effectively with EMC engineers to interpret their requirements
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level or equivalent in a related discipline. The position will require travel worldwide so the ability to do this without restriction is essential.
