A unique opportunity has arisen to join a growing company based in Berkshire who is seeking a Junior Buyer. This company specialise in the manufacture of UV equipment for disinfection, deozonation, dechloramination, and dechlorination and for the enhanced removal of total organic carbon from ultrapure applications.
Main responsibilities will include sourcing and placement of orders, using MRP reports and manual requisitions, identify alternative suppliers, raise work orders, progress outstanding purchase orders and maintenance of MRP systems. You will also be required to assist all areas of the company as required and undertake any task issued by the Materials Control Manager.
Candidates ideally will either be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline or have good industry experience of a manufacturing, electronics company. Experience of MRP systems would be an advantage but is not essential. Full training offered.
