Operations - Electronics - Instrumentation - Sub-contract - MRP - Manager
My client specialise in the design and manufacture of electronic instrumentation equipment.
Executive Role:
-Member of the Senior Management Team.
-Developing and delivering a strategic plan for the Operational departments.
-Formulation of direction and strategy - Company and Departmental
-Instrumental in the development of the organisational culture.
Responsibilities:
-Team management
-Develop and drive strategic initiatives that reduce cost & lead time
-Improve quality of products and services
-Continuous Improvement
-Strive to achieve corporate goals
Experience:
-Working within an electronics manufacturing company also encompassing mechanical assembly, where sub contract is the predominant method of manufacture.
-Delivering products and services to blue chip companies
-Subcontract management - turnkey manufacture with full procurement
-Taking engineering bill of materials and a final product delivery schedule and converting then to high quality finished product
-Running and a thorough understanding of computerized MRPII systems
-All aspects of inventory control and buying, including high level negotiation
-Multiple sit operations, both UK and non UK environments
-Chinese culture and trading with Chinese companies
-Development and implementation of ISO9001 quality systems
-Commercial awareness
Qualifications:
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline.
