Purchasing - Assistant - CIPS - MRP - ERP - Manufacturing - Material Controller - Material Planner - Production Planner - Buyer
My client is a premier technology company with innovative design and manufacturing capabilities in motion control and electronic components. Its standard and custom product solutions are used in industrial, commercial, medical, marine, aerospace and defense applications.
Due to expansion they are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to assist the Purchasing Manager to ensure supply of raw materials, components and sub-contract work in support of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
" Sourcing and placement of orders, using MRP reports and manual requisitions
" Negotiation of contracts, identify alternative suppliers and provide quotations
" Complete supplier agreements, progress outstanding PO's and maintenance of MRP systems
" Assist all areas of the company as required
Key Skills:
" Experience within a manufacturing environment
" Experience of MRP/ERP systems
" Microsoft Word and Excel
