EMC - RF - Test - Project
My client is a supplier of turnkey EMC test systems based on their market leading software packages.
They are currently looking for a EMC Application Engineer who is able to design EMC test systems to meet our customers' individual requirements from initial concept to final acceptance, including system integration and installation.
Responsibilities:
"To become fully conversant with all aspects of their test software and its application
"Assist in definition, design, assembly, installation and commissioning of test systems
"Support customers in installing systems and configuring the software to meet their requirements
Key skills/knowledge:
"Knowledge of RF and microwave electronics
"Practical experience of RF EMC testing
"Familiarity with programming techniques and flow charting
"Familiarity with software control of test instrumentation
"Ability to communicate effectively with EMC engineers to interpret their requirements
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level or equivalent in a related discipline. The position will require travel worldwide so the ability to do this without restriction is essential.
