Software - Embedded - C - C++ - VxWorks - RTOS - Defence - Aerospace - Team Leader - Image processing - Optics - Degree
My client are leaders in the design and manufacture of rugged, real-time video tracking and image processing sub-systems.
They are currently seeking a Software Team Leader to be responsible for the management of the software engineering team which supports the development of the company's range of video tracking and image processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, facilitate and coordinate software development activities
Ensure that the software team maintains a capability at the leading edge of technology
Ownership of processes related to function
Provide leadership of process improvement
Deciding tactical priorities in consultation with product and project managers
Key Skills:
Real-time embedded software (VxWorks)
C and C++
Experience in image processing and/or electro optics systems (not essential)
Experience in the defence and aerospace sector(not essential)
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level within a related discipline.
