Our client is a communications systems start-up company dedicated to supplying Integrated Circuits, Reference Designs and Intellectual Property for next generation wireless applications. Their team uniquely blends and cultivates expertise in communications systems, software development, computer architecture, digital signal processing, RF design and silicon design. Their immediate goal is to dominate the supply of flexible, scaleable, high capacity base station solutions that enable cost effective third generation wireless infrastructure deployment. They now have a requirement for an ASIC / FPGA design engineer, someone with between 5-10 years experience. Your background will include 3+ years experience in the design of wireless communication systems and a familiarity with ASIC or FPGA technologies. In-depth experience of at least one is essential. The successful candidate will have some commercial experience though candidates with the personality and motivation to undertake a client facing role may also be considered.
