Our client is leading the drive to boost skills and workforce development in the UK environmental and land-based sector. They currently seek a Project Manager to join the team on a six month maternity cover contract.
For this role, ESF knowledge is not essential but a background of training/education or ESF would be advantageous. Within the role, your key job responsibilities will be to:
* Co-ordinate successful delivery of outcomes of National ESF project
* Maintain and manage sub-contracts ensuring that deadlines and milestones are met
* Oversee marketing and engagement strategy to ensure all required beneficiaries are enrolled
* Maintain project financial administrative systems & procedures in line with both ESF and the company's ISO9001 accreditation
* Provide monthly financial & progress reports on project to Deputy Chief Executive
* Assist with the compilation of claims in accordance with EU regulations
* Work with Head Office and regional staff to ensure the success of project
To fulfil these duties successfully, the candidate will require the following skills and knowledge:

The successful applicant will receive a salary of between £28,000 and £30,000 pa pro rata, along with benefits including: 25 days' holiday pa pro rata, free car parking, contributory pension scheme, Employee Support Scheme and a free advice line.
