We currently require and experienced Technical Trainer for our client whose expertise is in seismic and permanent downhole instrumentation.
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing and managing individual training plans and competency programs for all employees. Responsible for day to day management of training activities for all field and onshore personnel. Further duties will include: designing and delivering training on READ tools and services, liaising with external suppliers for 3rd party training provision, liaising with QHSE Advisor for the development and delivery of safety training, the preparation and maintenance of training matrix by type of position, managing training certification records and training database, monitor and report on activities, costs internal and external training effectiveness.
The successful candidate for this role will be degree qualified in Science/Engineering and/or relevant industry experience. A proven track record in monitoring engineering staff performance and the development of individual specific training plans. Candidates will have a strong background and operational awareness of cased hole/wireline and/or Seismic industry is desirable. Must be able to demonstrate Microsoft office skills with excellent spoken/written English and confident in public speaking. Focused on teaching and mentoring with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to structure and deliver training.
