Our client is currently looking to hire a deputy general manager who will have responsibility with the general day-to-day management of the schools concession company. Key responsibilities: • Support the General Manager in carrying out the role of Concession Company Representative under the Project Agreement, FM Agreement, Construction Contract and Loan Agreement respectively and to the requirement of the Shareholders
• Liaison with the Commercial Manager as required by the General Manager in respect of commercial issues
• Management of Health and Safety, and environmental/sustainability policies in Concession and Project
• Management of the site-based project team reportees.
• Management of the services to the Council in respect of the BSF initiative
• Ensure that the requirements of the Management Systems Manual, and Risk Register are reviewed regularly and maintained at all times
• Liaison with senior representatives of the client, building contractor and the FM contractor to ensure timely closure of interfaces, issues and upholding of all project deliverables
• Chair monthly building contractor FM contractor Project Review meetings.
• Provide assistance to the General Manager in the liaison with technical, legal and financial advisors
• Management /agreement of O&M’s, H&S files, Asset Registers, Annual Maintenance Plans and the like for each school.
• Monitor and review construction operations and mange the handover procedure
• In conjunction with the Commercial team, procure contractors as appropriate for variation work and life-cycle work
• In conjunction with the Commercial Manager and Cost Manager, manage the concession change control procedures
• In conjunction with the Operations Co-ordinator, monitor and review FM operations and Life-cycle operations
• Control of Planning Supervisor and any external technical consultants if engaged
• Attend Client Meetings and manage actions.
