Our client is looking to hire an experienced bid director to bid for a win various Schools and BSF type PFI's. Ideally we are looking for someone with a proven track record of winning PFI schools bids with experience of taking these types of bids through to financial close. Key Responsibilities/Duties • Overall responsibility for leadership of the bid, including bid strategy formulation, team building and communication. • Assembly of the internal staff and advisor team, in conjunction with the Regional Director, Commercial Director and Project Finance Director. • Obtainment of necessary approvals via the PCD and tender committee processes. • Liaison with senior client representatives. • Liaison with co-sponsors and the internal bid steering committee. • Preparation of bid management plan. • Establishment of, obtainment of approval for and monitoring of the bid budget. • Establishment of and monitoring of bid programme. • Establishment and maintenance of Project Risk Register. • Co-ordination of written technical, legal and financial contributions to the bid, including preparation of contents list. • Development of property, third party income and insurance proposals for bid in conjunction with FM manager and commercial manager. • Preparation of SPC cost budget, in conjunction with the Director of Building and the Regional Director • Management of pricing input to the bid from Construction Contractor and Service Provider(s),
