For all tutors - you will need to have:A good standard of literacy and oral communication skills. Patience in plentiful supply. A degree or be similar qualified (second year and beyond undergraduates are welcome to apply too). You will also need a National Insurance Number. To be at least 21 years old. Availability for at least 6 months and 4 hours a week (evenings and weekends). Suitable materials for yourself and your students to use during the lessons. Plus for tutors of primary-aged children you will also need to have:Experience of dealing with under 11's - probably in a classroom environment. Plus for tutors of other subjects you will also need to have:Qualifications in relevant subjects above the level you propose to tutor them at. Plus for native-speaking tutors of foreign languages you will also need to have:A good standard of education. Prior experience of explaining your language to people. Suitable resources for tutoring young children if you are proposing to teach them.
