Transport Manager - Logistics and Distribution
Surrey/South London, Croydon
£ Attractive Package
Our client is a logistics and distribution company currently seeking to add to their growing team. They are looking to recruit a Transport Manager based in Croydon.
As a Transport Manager, much of your time will be spent leading, deploying, training and developing a team of drivers to achieve a multi skilled workforce. Training will be given.
It is essential that you:
1. MUST be a CPC license holder
2. MUST have local and home county knowledge
3. MUST have basic computer literacy
- Sending/receiving/dealing with E-mails
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
4. MUST have clean driving license
5. Must have ability to drive 7.5 tonne lorries
6. Must be able to plan and prioritise workloads under considerable pressure
7. Must be able to work with different people at different levels in order to achieve results
8. Be able to check drivers paperwork and correcting when necessary
9. MUST have clean driving license
10. Are 25 or over due to insurance purposes
