LOGISTICS MANAGER
MAJOR INTERNATIONAL FOOD MANUFACTURER
West Midlands c£31k +strong benefits + relocation
Our client is part of a truly international food manufacturing organisation which occupies leading positions in important markets in Europe, the US and beyond. Profitable, ambitious and growing, an outstanding opportunity is available to join a well invested site employing more than 300 people in a key European division.
Reporting to the Site General Manager you will ensure the smooth running of the supply chain, taking responsibility for production planning, scheduling, materials management and distribution. Leading a small team, you will seek to optimise all aspects of planning systems and logistics across the business, always aiming to achieve the highest possible levels of customer service. In doing so you will enjoy support and licence to introduce process improvements in order to meet current and future challenges.
Of Graduate calibre you should have at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably in a quality focussed, continuous process manufacturing environment. Influential and persuasive, you will be an excellent communicator and have good commercial instincts. Your leadership ability will be obvious and by striving to achieve the highest standards you will make your mark in a business which can offer you future career development.
