Redline are currently recruiting for a Materials & Logistics Co-ordinator to be based in Aberdeen. Our client is a leader in the design, manufacture and production of completion products for the Oil and Gas Industry.
The role of the Materials & Logistics Co-ordinator is to facilitate the timely shipment of import and export goods and services, ensuring associated documentation is in line with purchase orders and invoices received, and HM customs requirements for all materials/equipment within European and African regions.
Your duties will include but not be limited to; maintaining adequate stock levels of items in the warehouse and stores area. Liaising with the Aberdeen Purchasing Department on the purchase/procurement of materials as required by Operations in a timely manner. Liaising with external packaging company and freight companies with regards to crating/packing requirements. Controlling customs paperwork for import and export purposes.
For this role you are required to have good educational achievements. You must be numerate and literate and able to communicate fluently with differing internal and external groups. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar role and it is also desirable if you have or are working towards a CIPS qualification.
