Imports/Stock Control Assistant
£ 18 – 20,000 dependant upon experience Harrow Middlesex
We are a leading manufacturer & distributor of a full range of golf products based in Harrow. Our customer base is varied and is based in the U.K, Europe & Africa. The company is going from strength to strength and now requires someone highly organised to assist in the busy area of Imports and Stock Control
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will analyse stock levels on a weekly basis. Create purchase orders in liaison with manager Place orders with appropriate factories in Far East ensuring orders & delivery dates are confirmed. Keep an accurate import schedule diary & inform all appropriate office & warehouse staff of dates when goods are arriving into warehouse.
Maintain Sage Products Base Create a range of reports & analyse with manager
THE PERSON
Must be organized & able to multi task
Have the ability to learn new systems & tasks quickly & competently
Must be able to work systematically & prioritise work in order of urgency.
Be able to work as a member of a team
Experience of freight & shipping logistics would be an advantage
Must be confident at dealing with customer’s orders, queries & complaints in a friendly,quick & efficient manner.
Be fully conversant with MS Office
Able to demonstrate at least 4 years experience in imports
Sage experience an advantage
Being able to speak a European language would be an advantage
