Our Client is a rapidly expanding multinational supplier of parts and logistic services to the automotive industry. They are now looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator based at their office close to Southend Airport.
Commencing immediately this is a temporary position providing three months maternity cover. You will be working as part of a small team scheduling parts manufactured by our suppliers for delivery to our customers on a “just in time” basis.
The role will involve placing orders with overseas suppliers and ensuring goods arrive on time. You will be using an in-house inventory system for which training will be provided.
Applicants need to be numerate and computer literate with knowledge of Outlook and Excel with excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time position of 41 hours a week offered as a three month fixed term contract. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm.
