Our client is a rapidly expanding multinational supplier of parts and logistic services to the automotive industry. They currently invite applications for the position of Supply Chain Co-ordinator, based at the company's office close to Southend Airport. The company operates a no smoking policy.
Commencing immediately, this is a temporary position providing seven months' maternity cover. You will be working as part of a small team scheduling parts manufactured by suppliers for delivery to customers on a “just in time” basis.
The role will involve placing orders with overseas suppliers and ensuring goods arrive on time. You will be using an in-house inventory system for which training will be provided. Applicants need to be numerate and computer literate with knowledge of Outlook and Excel with excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time position of 41 hours a week offered as a seven month fixed term contract. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm.
