Visual Basic Developer with strong Oracle or SQL Server skills is required by our client a financial services software house based in Horsham, West Sussex (close to Crawley). Working within a motivated team of programmers, your work will focus on developing high quality code that will be used by clients operations worldwide. Coding using a combination of Visual Basic 6/ Oracle / SQL / Crystal you will be involved in the full product development lifecycle; developing new and enhancing existing programmes. To be considered you must have 3+ years experience in a Visual Basic, Oracle or SQL Server environment with a background in the financial services industry (banking, insurance, pensions etc). This role includes the opportunity to move into .NET (VB.NET) and as such previous VB.NET skills will be a particular advantage for this post. More senior Web Developer role also available.
