Focusing on the areas of convergence, mobility and multi-media contact centres, 4C has enjoyed considerable success in winning new business over the past 5 years and has an impressive client base comprising major organisations in both the public and private sectors. As a consequence of our success, we now wish to recruit an experienced networking professional to join our consultancy team. The Role - Will involve working in a 4C team to assist clients to devise, procure and implement innovative voice and data strategies that support and enable their business objectives. - Will involve extensive UK travel to undertake work at offices belonging to clients, vendors and 4C. - Will require the candidate to develop professional business relationships with senior representatives of our clients and their suppliers. - Will require the candidate to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all the leading voice and data products available in the UK. The Person - Will have at least three years experience of working in a pre-sales technical role with a vendor or within an end-user IT department. - Will be ambitious and keen to further their career by moving into the demanding area of independent consultancy for the first time. - Will have a thorough understanding of current networking technologies and capable of bringing a business and commercial perspective to their work. - Will be articulate and capable of writing and presenting reports to board level. - Will be self-motivated and self-reliant, as the role will involve lone working and extensive travel on a regular basis.
