A cutting edge mobile manufacturer who is growing rapidly requires a Software Project Manager to join their world class feature phone development team. The position will play a key role in the companys objective to produce the most advanced GSM/GPRS handsets in the market. The role incorporates leading the core SW development projects for the software group. This is a hands on position whilst also managing teams of developers as well as being the interface to the other participants in the group. Responsibilities will include being involved in the system architecture and design teams to define the technical roadmap for the Feature Phone product range as well as managing the complete lifecycle of the project. It is essential that the successful candidate has experience in the field of GSM mobile phones, real time embedded operating systems and software development of mobile handsets. Technical experience of C, Real time embedded software development following CMM is essential.
