A Remedy Consultant is required by our client a IT Solutions provider based in Birmingham/Solihull, West Midlands, who can provide support and solutions based on various components of the BMC Remedy product suite. You will work in a pre-sales environment where you will be required to understand requirements and develop a high level demonstrable solution and provide effort estimates to supporting costing activities. In a delivery role where you are required to help formulate user requirements and design and develop suitable solutions. In a consultancy role where you use your experience and knowledge to act in an advisory capacity to customers Remedy staff. And, in a support role where you will be required to use your extensive problem investigation/analysis skills to resolve problems quickly and to a quality level that ensure responses/resolutions are within SLA targets.
To be considered for the role you will be an experienced Remedy Consultant, preferably with either RAC or RSP certification along with more than 3 years experience of having designed, developed, tested and successfully implemented solutions using AR System version 6, and preferably version 6.3. You will have experience of all phrases of a typical project life cycle and the ability to adhere to quality system procedures and guidelines, sufficient knowledge and experience to advise customers on all matters relating to Remedy e.g. defining processes, validating the design of their own solutions, investigating and defining interfaces, planning upgrades, etc. You should also have the following skills: the ability to develop solutions using a Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, experience of supporting users through user acceptance testing, ensuring that problems are identified and fixed rapidly, experience of supporting critical solutions and providing support and resolutions within tight SLA's, to produce quality supporting documentation of final solution and the ability to learn new technologies and apply them in real application solutions.
