SENIOR ANIMATOR
Our client is a well established developer responsible for critically and commercially acclaimed titles. Due to an exciting new project they are now urgently looking for a talented and creative Senior Animator to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating in-game character content, modelling and animating individual characters and scenic elements within the game.
The role involves animating filmic introductions, cut scenes and endings for the game whilst providing high definition models for concept and marketing purposes.
Skills required include:
A working knowledge of 3D Studio Max, Maya or a similar 3D package.
Knowledge of the timing and appearance of human and animal movement and facial expressions and how characters should move and behave.
To be able to apply modelling techniques and to optimise animation within constraints.
Low poly modelling skills are essential and 2D skills would be an advantage
A degree in animation/an art background (particularly life drawing) is advantageous, as is camera and sequence direction skills.
This is a Short Term Contract possibly leading to permanent.
