Our client is seeking an experienced application developer to join a small, friendly team developing, maintaining and supporting custom built applications for their clients.
Essentially you will be a dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly, resourceful and self motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years developing applications in Microsoft Access coupled with a good knowledge of SQL Server 2000.
Only applicants who have a proven track record of developing, implementing and supporting multi user desktop applications used in a commercial environment will be considered. You will need a thorough understanding of the principles and practice of database and query design, be able to construct intuitive and good looking user interfaces and reports, and comfortable writing complex VBA code.
Along with the technical side of the role they are looking for a candidate who has excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing directly with clients; you must be able to offer a confident and professional approach to the role that will support their good reputation.
Based at their office in the popular town of Coleshill, Birmingham you will also work on client sites. Their clients range from medium size enterprises up to major PLC's and the NHS.
Remuneration is up to £25,000 depending on experience plus other benefits. No agencies please.
